Eric Del La Rosa

Eric attended  Mt Miguel High School in San Diego CA.

It was here where coach Nick Guerra found while scouting another player. Eric’s energy and charisma grabbed Coach Nick’s attention right away! Eric had no plans of being a ball player, but it was this meeting that changed his direction in life.

From 2013-2016 Eric Played with the Hustle where he developed and impressed scouts all over southern California.

In 2017 Eric attended Grossmont Community College where he won San Diego’s first State Championship.

In 2018 Eric was awarded SoCal Player of the Year and Named 1st Team All State

2018 he was drafted by The Detroit Tigers as the1st Pick 7th Round

In 2021 he named Organizational Allstar as he Jump 3 levels is 1 year, Low A, High A and Finished the year in Double A. Eric also Led the Organization in Stolen Bases.

Eric is such a special Story!  As the youngest of 10 siblings Eric always wanted and thought he would  be a professional fisherman, but in his words, "God had other plans". He is a true success story.

Eric De La Rosa is someone that always remembers his routes and is always there for the kids! He is an amazing man and A True Hustle Hall of Famer!
