Coach Geno “Pops” Guerra, Father of owner Coach Nick Guerra, is the Grandfather of the San Diego Hustle Organization. Pops is more than a Coach to the Hustle, he is the man who taught our owner and founder, Coach Nick Guerra, the brand of Hustle baseball!

Coach Geno Guerra was Division 1 Quarterback at only 5’8 165 lbs. Despite his physical size, Pops excelled at the college level. This hard work, physical and mental toughness combined with the ability to overcome his fears and adversity is a message that he has been delivering to young athletes for the past 40 plus years.

Coach Pops is a Military Veteran that brings discipline and accountability to our players. The presence of that hard nose style combined with the warmth and love of a Grandfather is what makes Pops so special!
